Nominative Determinism

A fly
Is defined by
The fact it can fly.

So who
Named the gnu
And what can it do?

Why The Odd Title?

Nominative determinism is a rather strange idea which suggests that the names we're given determines what we do and how we behave. So a man called Rich may become successful and wealthy, while a lady called Miss Pelling may become a (not very good) English teacher.
